macOS Support¶
The current Apache OpenOffice supports Apple OS X version10.7 (Lion), 10.8 (Mountain Lion), 10.9 (Mavericks), 10.10 (Yosemite),10.11 (El Capitan) and macOS 10.12 (Sierra), 10.13 (High Sierra),10.14 (Mojave), 10.15 (Catalina).

- For customers who are not yet ready for the cloud, Office offers three suites that are available through volume licensing—Office Professional Plus 2019, Office Standard 2019, and Office Standard 2019 for Mac. Microsoft Office License For Mac
Open any Office app, like Microsoft Word and in the What's New box that opens, select Get Started. On the Sign in to activate Office screen, select Sign in. Note: If you weren't prompted to sign in, open a blank file and go to File New from template Sign in. Enter the email address associated with Office for Mac and click Next. Apache OpenOffice: The Free, Open Productivity Suite. Apache OpenOffice is one of the better.

- Storage: At least 400 Mbytes available disk space for a default install via download.
- Graphics: 1024 x 768 or higher resolution with 16.7 million colours.
